In a race at Summit Point (today at 10..00 AM) I was second in close contact with the leader. In the last lap I made a mistake and lost contact, but absolutely nothing else happened. I had a consistent advantage on the third, and no other car overtook me until the chequered flag. But, according to the final standings instead of 2nd I'm 6th, with +1 lap.
What can be happened? It's the strangest bug I've seen up to now (also frustrating, since I was chasing a good result in this race since the beginning of the week).

same happened to me a month ago, after finish i found server lost, not noticed in race any problem, was in lead by 10s , after race 1 or 2 laps down

maybe it counted your off track as skipping one lap, might be a bug with the track
see if you can replicate it offline and report it to the track creator

Thanks for your replies. Simon is right, since another player reported this issue for Summit Point. I will tell the rrack creator.
