It is a very satisfying thonk! But yes, it can wipe out inky dink gains in an instant ?

RE: AMS2 Ginetta series - Armando Mossuto - 08-15-2020

Do you know if those are counted in the game as incidents? Some people were complaining about having multiple unknown incidents counted for them and I am wondering if maybe it was thanks to those cones.

I will try to participate in tonight's race at 23:30 (although my wife may have other plans), but I am unsure if there will be enough participation to make it official.

I'll try to join every friday too. The incident counter is very fussy Big Grin

RE: AMS2 Ginetta series - Jim C Russell - 08-15-2020

Yep. every thwok = 1 inc. I think I received 4-5 in a row in one corner, in my first race  Big Grin

Can confirm the cones count as incidents.
I had 3 in that race and that was the only contact in my race. Even survived with the no pesky corner cuts ?

RE: AMS2 Ginetta series - Michael Laws - 08-17-2020

I seem to be pulled towards those things like a magnet. I've noticed that the car will understeer a lot more after collecting them, even if the suspension damage is still at 0. Then I noticed in my replays that some of the bodywork was just a bit loose from the collision. I guess the game is changing the aero based on this, which is pretty cool.

Very interesting if touching these automatically triggers an incident. I've started a thread but we won't know unless someone from Reiza replies: https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/what-constitutes-an-incident.12539/

I really enjoy driving the Ginetta, but it seems the most popular time slot is the one that's 3:30am for me. I entered the other one but unless we get six people, the results don't count besides fastest laps. Still fun to race with everyone at least.

Enjoying this new game and I hope it’s generates interest and participation grows on SRS. We just need to get someone to take a hit and mow down all the bollards on the first lap!

RE: AMS2 Ginetta series - Michael Laws - 08-17-2020

I might watch back the replay of the Ginetta race from the other day. I have no collisions or off tracks in that but three incidents. I definitely would have hit some bollards so we'll see if it matches.

I took one for the team an watched back my replay. In this race I had:
- A jump start and subsequent drive through penalty.
- Four times I heard the sound of teaching a bollard a lesson.
- Two half spins where I pressed the car reset button to get going again.
- No off tracks/warnings/penalties.
- No collisions with other cars.
All of this equals three penalties.
My guess is the two car resets plus the jump start but that's not consistent with other races so who knows.
