New member and a question - Stephen OMalley - 06-08-2020
Fed up with the terrible standards of driving in iracing, and the protest system which often resulted in "although the guy rejoined the track in front of 20 cars it was a racing incident so we wont ban him cos we still want his money", i would like to give this a go.
Is there a simple source for downloading cars and tracks you don't have? I thought I would start with the 106 at Tsukuba but neither are included in the content i have.
Also, just being nosey, how do you guys run this without a subscription service? Is there a donate button?

Sorry for being thick, but I followed the link, downloaded the shaders. When I click race and view the BMWseries, I still see downloads required. No join button.
Can you tell me what I am missing please

if the content is not on the download list, it's from a DLC.
If you don't own lots of DLCs, the best thing is to buy the ultimate version from our partner, it will fill all missing DLCs on your install.

I won that car and that track. I can practise there. I also own a few DLC's. Should it work or do I have to buy DLc for stuff I may not use?

if you own them, it should work.
Thats Kunos content, so something wrong with your install.
delete the launcherdata folder at mydocs/assetto corsa and restart AC.
if it doesn't work, perform a steam integrity check.
