Just finished my first BMW 235i race this season. I knew it was going to be interesting when whoever was in pole position started to levitate, then separate from his four wheel and sink into the tarmack just before lights out. I was not disappointed! I think at least 5 people jumped the start due to everyone disappearing the moment we anticipated the lights going out (me included). And then we all had to serve drive through penalties... after of course the complete destruction of the start.
I think I was stuck in the middle of one car that thought that aggressive application of the throttle would fix it for a good 5 seconds before we finally detached.
Long story short? If you are REALLY careful and ignore the cars around you and only concentrate on the lights, you can survive this.
I wonder if this happens more often when there are a good 15 people on the server with red connection status.... :|
