Post your new Skins for Season Starting June 1st, 2020! - Russell Sobie - 05-30-2020

Hah... I bet you thought I already painted one of the newly announced cars and you'd get to look at it now! Well, technically correct! But these are just the cars I've done in the past so far... new liveries are coming for the Radical, the Pugeot, the Legends Ford, and maybe even the Porsche 911 GTA.

I am thinking I might do a streaming series for them live on youtube! How exciting!

Here's the Dallara F317 I may or may not be racing this season:

Looking good! My only suggestion would be to use imgur's thumbnail BBCode links for posting the images. Saves those of us that don't sport 4K monitors from having our web browsers destroyed. If folks want to see the high res, they can just click on the picture! Big Grin

My skins for the new season

Porsche: skin made for a series of some season ago, i don't remember exactly when lol
Peugeot: Sorry french people, i don't hate you but i tought it was funny (as an italian)
Dallara: Decided to make a new one, inspired a bit from Falken's liveries (Video: https://youtu.be/WuFOP2mOM0Y)
Legends Car: Nothing special, like the Radical   (Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv37o4SK9B0)
Ferrari F40: Very simple livery, just a stripe and a number
Williams: Used the Ferrari skin, put Marlboro sponsor, changed the number and put some other things inside the cockpit

I don't start with anyone's templates since I use Mudbox for painting. I tried to make you one but at 4K, zipped up PSDs were over the 10MB limit for attachments.

It's possible to make your own template with nothing but Content Manager. Check out the section on "Preparing Your Own Template" here: https://www.simracingsystem.com/showthread.php?tid=2249
