Hi from the UK. - Glen Riley - 04-22-2020 Hello Everybody, I'm new to the whole Sim racing thing (have palyed many a racing game though). Saw they use Assetto Corsa on the simulators at the Ferrari Museums in Italy last year so got a copy love it but hate racing Bots so thought id sign up and see how it goes. See you on the track! Cheers G. RE: Hi from the UK. - Charles Chambers - 04-23-2020 Welcome! Please beware of the SRS Regulations. Some of the faster drivers are serious about their races. The last thing that you need as a new driver on SRS is to ruin someone's race day. • https://www.simracingsystem.com/regulation.php In short; • Yellow Flags mean, caution, hazard on or near the track. • Blue Flags mean, courtesy passing, give way to faster cars approaching. • Checkered Flags mean, end of race. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_flags Again, welcome! It is great to have you here! See you on the track! Cheers! RE: Hi from the UK. - Lewis Foster - 04-26-2020 Hi Glen, i'm in a similar boat to you. Been sim racing for a while but still way off the pace and trying to get into it more by racing online. I just completed my first race on here and really enjoyed it. Not too sure about Charles' reply above. Could have been a little more tactful! |
