deleted the x64 folder and performed a Steam integrity check (a new x64 folder has been created). there is no SRS_folder where I can save the SRS exe.

you should extract the zip file on the first post of this thread inside
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience
perhaps it is best to extract it somewhere else first, like desktop for ex.
you will then get a folder named 'Game'
just copy it to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\
execute or create a shortcut to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\x64\SRS_RRE\SRS.exe
using a good compression software is important, 7zip (click here to download) is free and lightweight.
