The DRM championship will use all available cars in the mod.

Qualify: 10 min
Race: 20 min

Tyre wear is set to 200%

Circuits were chosen by DRM modding team in order to provide different experiences.
This means that there will be cars better suited for each round.

Drivers will have to study these combos and select whatever works best for them.

What, DRM on SRS?!
It's hard to find the right words, but a dream comes finally true!
Monday the 23rd of September will be like birthday and Christmas on the same day for me.
I love Assetto Corsa and Sim Racing System will hopefully keep it alive for us for very long time - many, many thanks for that guys!
DRM is by far the best MOD I've ever had in a simulation and I can't believe we will drive it here at SRS – this is absolutely awesome!
Assetto itself couldn't have done it better.
This MOD is worth every cent and I've never seen it as cheap as it is for SRS right now - a big THANK YOU to the DRM guys!
If you don't have it yet, don't miss this opportunity.
It brings so much fun to drive these turbo monsters, every time when I’m on track with this beautiful and impressive cars I’ve a big smile on my face.
I can't wait until Monday [Image: biggrin.png] !
Hopefully many of you will take part in this race series, because this increases the probability that we will see this brilliant DRM-MOD also in the future on SRS.

RE: DRM Revival - Steve Fenn - 09-22-2019

Hello, I am pretty new to sim racing and am looking to have my first race with SRS in this upcoming DRM series if my time permits.
One of the reasons being is I live in Southern California in the USA and the race will be at noon on Monday.
I downloaded the pack and set off to see what I was getting into.
I started out by running the Escort [marod scream] to get comfortable with this class on the upcoming Nurburgring Sprint GT track.
After several laps and then several more with some tuning, I was running consistent laps in the low 1:39 range.
I then took the Capri [marod areo] out with no adjustments and my first timed lap was a mid 1:38.81
I'm sure with a few tweeks that can go lower.
Got back in the Escort and ran a bunch more laps tuning a bit more and my best from that session was down to a 1:38.97.
With its short wheelbase, the Escort was quite twitchy getting on power and under hard braking.
The Capri was much more settled on corner entry and exit and a faster mph through both high speed sections.
My question is, are these two cars in the same class and will they be scored together during the race or will they compete on
the course together but be scored as two separate classes?

Thanks,
Steve Fenn

RE: DRM Revival - simracingsystem - 09-22-2019

the championship is single class and you can pick any car who want, any round.

RE: DRM Revival - Simon Meisinger - 09-22-2019

There are mods to change the cars' names to the real ones. Can we use those with SRS or do we need the original names?

RE: DRM Revival - Jim C Russell - 09-22-2019

Slobros practice server will feature DRM for the series. The twitchy spin fest is on!

It's amazing how well balanced all those different cars are, despite all of them being quite different.

I tested half of them pretty thoroughly yesterday and managed 1:32:xxx in all of them except the the BMW 1001 (although I could imagine that a more capable driver would be faster witht that small car around that small track than with a powerful one).

RE: DRM Revival - Simon Meisinger - 09-23-2019

What a great race. Everyone was behaving quite nicely too. A couple of shunts in the first two corners, but that's to be expected. Everyone was behaving as good as it gets.

Amazing cars. Thank you for the opporturnity to finally race them properly!
