does the SRS app affect ability to join community events? - Damian Shaw - 07-28-2019

Hi all,

new SRS user with perhaps a dumb question - does the PC2 app affect the ability to join community events?

I ran PC2 with the -sportsplay 85.10.198.91:27015 launch option in steam (im a VR user).

Have since removed this from the launcher as I couldnt see any online lobbies.  When running now i have all the multiplayer lobbies back, but when i try to join the current community events (I am eligible for them) neither of them launch.

Havent had this problem until installing the SRS app.

Anyone seen this before?

thanks

if sportsplay command is set, you will only see servers set to sportsplay.
a simple pc2 restart without that command should do it.

I suggest instead of removing the launch option entirely, just edit it slightly so that you don't have to re-enter the entire thing when you want to go back to SRS.

I've been using -sportsplay 85.10.198.91:27015 for SRS races and -xsportsplay 85.10.198.91:27015 for non-SRS races. Apparently the x makes the launch option incorrect and PC2 seems to simply ignore it.
