That's why cars come with rear view mirrors :-)

I'm really amazed how equally consistent people are in this series – at least that's the case upper midfield.

I spent all my races (except the one were I got wrecked at the start) following a couple of cars that matched exactly my speed with incredible consistency. Didn't have that at SRS so far. Pretty amazing.

Yes I had situations like that, probably a lot of us had .This is video where I am using rear mirrors to not be killed on public server, but also I had identical situations with people here on SRS

The general rule of this car is qualify top of the field come out of T1 after start bottom of the field just higher than those who cant get the car down the start straight in the first place from a standing start Wink

That's... the general rule with every car as of late. Even the Toyota GT86. :|

RE: Mazda 787B series - Alex Leif - 08-10-2018

ESPECIALLY the GT86!

my gosh, I saved a replay the other day, if I had bothered to make some videos, well there would have been about 5 which would have been very worthwhile making, if you know what i mean Wink just didn't get round to it in the end. But it was some very disgraceful stuff lol, worse than I have seen in anything since the Audi TT cup and the MX5 cup, both which are proper arsehole magnets as well.

Oh I totally made the video you are referring to, and I reported everyone that I saw do anything overtly stupid... even if I wasn't directly involved in the incidents (although looking at my incident count for that race, you'd think I was the cause of all of it!). I also attempted to send PMs to repeat offenders, and half of them have PMs disabled. Rolleyes

You are a good man Russell! Cheers Smile

Edit: haha, you were not in the race I was on about, but I saw the results of your race, yep looks like they were pretty damn similar in terms of amount of inicidents

After a not very enjoyable first race at Monza (T1 pile-up, nowhere to go, punted in the back, punted later on, etc.), I decided not to qualify for my second race so I could start at the back and not get caught up in accidents. Monza's chicanes are so unforgiving when there are lots of cars in a small space. Even so, I only just managed to miss two massive crashes in the first lap and ended halfway up the field by lap 2.

But then I had a great battle with Jim Gorman - who, I've just noticed, started this thread - to the end of the race. So I experienced the worst and best of simracing in close succession and have decided that the best makes it all worthwhile.  Cool

This car is quite at home at Mugello, feels really good! Tough last couple of laps on soft tyres last night but it turned out to be worth the gamble in this instance, very fun car to drive never mind race, totally glad to have this as a daily series.
