Shanghai Tianma Circuit - Steffen Hohler - 05-22-2022 https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/shanghai-tianma-circuit.12904/ RE: Shanghai Tianma Circuit - Pasha Paterson - 05-22-2022 Initial thoughts: - Very small. Would slot in among other slow-car or "club-level" tracks like Vallelunga Club, Magione, Modena, Okayama Piper, Tsukuba. That tier of tracks could use some more variety, and this would be a good addition. - I tried it in the Cupra Leon 2020 and spent a lot of time in first and second gear. I think even this level of race car is both too big and too fast for this track. - I then tried it in the MAD Formula Team MFTC3 EVO and it was amazing. There are only a few tracks that force you to drive the MFTC3 like a race car instead of a go-kart, and this was one of them. Perfect combo. - The MX-5 Cup car is also delightful fun here. - Whoever made the CSP configuration for this track did a great job; the night lighting is spectacular. - It's quite technical and narrow, so incident counts might get frustrating, especially with novice drivers learning how to brake. - It's not well-known, so it will take a while for racing to get good here, as the races will be messy while people learn the track. Summary: Very fun track, and anyone running a club-level car series should consider suggesting it. |
