RIP Shaun Clarke - Michael Martin - 07-15-2021
Saddened to inform the community but Shaun Clarke passed earlier in the week.
His Mods have been a staple at SRS for as long as I can remember.

Sad news indeed...
I've met Shaun online a few years ago and like Martin said, his work has been a landmark in SRS since the early days.
Shaun had a strong personalty, we disagreed on some issues but always found a way to work together. Anyone who worked with him knew he was driven by his enthusiasm but always with the best intentions.
The last time we've exchanged messages was in mid December, we were talking about his latest updates to the Ginetta GT4 and wishing merry christmas to each other.
I admit that I did found odd that he was not active on social media as he used to but we just keep going until the bad news strikes you.
His work was fully appreciated in the Sim Racing World and in the real world racing as well but I'll leave that note to his team mates who are much more qualified to talk about that.

That is very sad news, he contributed so much to the sim racing world with some fantastic mods.

I think every one of Shaun's mods (with the exception of the BTCC pack) has appeared here at some point and been wildly popular.
He and I didn't interact much but he did provide some great commentary for a couple of mod review videos.
Shaun was not without controversy himself but that's just a fact of life when you're a prominent figure in any online community.
He'll be missed for sure.
