Building DIY Shifter - Kagan Yazlak - 03-06-2021 Hello to all. Does someone know a good DIY manual to build a Shifter? I have a Thrustmaster TMX with just 2 Pedals, but I want to upgrade my Kit to 3 Pedals ( t3pa / pro ). I also wanted to buy a Thrustmaster Shifter ( th8a ) but in my opinion, its waaay to expensive. I red also, that the Logitech Shifter doesnt work on Assetto Corsa with the TMX Wheel. So I choose, to build myself one Btw. I am working as a Systemadmin and I can handle with programming a rasperry pi. I saw a lot of DIY Shifter to build, but all the "Tutorials" are made from a 3d-printer or made out of industrial metal. I just want to build a good solide Shifter with common handtools and common materials (for example: wood pieces from IKEA) I am thankful for any answer RE: Building DIY Shifter - David Iglesias - 03-06-2021 Hi You can easily make the Logitech Shifter work with any wheel building an USB adapter with an Arduino Mini, that's the system that I'm using (Logitech Shifter + TS-PC) and it works like a charm. There are a lot of tutorials out there (search for Amstudio on YouTube, for ex.) or take a look on eBay or any other shop because you will probably find people selling it. Cheers. |
