Thanks, all!

Repairs are slow in coming, but progress has been made. All the skank carpet has been removed and today they are repairing the fire sprinkler system that was some of the cause of the water damage in my apartment. Turns out not only did a regular water line break, but also the sprinkler system! Insurance should be covering most of my own property, but I want to wait for the ceiling to be repaired and the carpet to be replaced before attempting a rebuild of my sim setup. Still no definite ETA getting back on the track, but I'm starting to itch for it! Big Grin

Regarding Texas getting their shit together... amen to that. Of course, the TX government continues to impress with their lifting of all mask and business restriction mandates state-wide! So yeah... on top of a complete lack of preparedness for sustained cold weather, we also boast a complete lack of scientific understanding on how to curtail the spread of contagious diseases! I hope you're racing again soon, Russel.
Be safe!

My insurance pulled through so I've purchased a replacement display and monitor stand. Unfortunately the apartment repairs are seemingly no where near complete (2/3rds of the apartment are bare concrete instead of carpet, and quite a bit of sheetrock squares have been cut into my ceiling and walls to repair the sprinkler system). I don't dare build a new setup until they get the floor done again. This isn't the biggest apartment in the world so it kind of needs to beĀ  built "in place". I'm going to upgrade to an 80/20 setup finally... but for now the wait continues! Sad
