I feel like it's been too easy for me to overtake people in the Audi TT, and I don't think that's because of my pandemic-fueled vastly improved simracing skills - although I'm slowly improving...
Here's the thing, the Audi has something akin to KERS - it's no F1 stuff, but it does give you another 30hp or so. Interestingly enough, Race Essentials does not display the KERS icon in this car, and you can activate KERS wherever you want (for a maximum of 15 times). And it's not like it's an auxiliary engine, so maybe that's why it's sort of "hidden". But you can definitely see KERS being activated (and the number of activations left) in the in-game cockpit dashboard, and I can definitely overtake people that I otherwise wouldn't be able to when it's activated.
