I am a retired gentleman living in California, USA. My lifelong buddy suggested we get into sim racing together. A quick survey of  the available software (heavily influenced by a flash sale over at Steam) brought me to Assetto Corsa. 
You can probably imagine what happened next: a wheel, pdeals, and a wheel stand quickly followed. I can safely say AC was the most expensive piece of software I have ever purchased!
At the moment, I am plodding through AC Career Mode, but hope to join you all in a race soon!

Never too old to start sim racing! You picked the right game for sure, Assetto Corsa with a good wheel/pedal setup is a great combination. Hope to see you on the track soon, Robert
