weather
#1
I've been running around a month on srs, and I asked myself a question.
All the races I took part in (mx5 cup and skoda) always had optimal conditions regarding the weather.
Is it always so or sometimes changes?
maybe you need to install an app?
Thank you and see you on the track.

It's always optimal to promote the rare situation where most of the drivers actually practice under known conditions before registering for any particular race. More variables means more required practice time means less people bother means more pile ups turn 1.

Isn't that because these are Assetto Corsa races and that sim does not support weather?

I recall at least one race is heavy rain in SRS but in Project Cars 2.

Weather isn't just "rain." In AC weather refers to time of day, clouds, temperature, and even wind intensity and direction, which effects a number of visuals but more importantly track conditions. It could be that Henrique is lazy and doesn't want to bother mixing it up, but I'm guessing it is because it's safer if everyone can practice exactly what they'll be racing on.

I was thinking the same thing, I just couldn't explain why there were always the same conditions.

Now you have removed a doubt.

For a while the time of day was set to the RW time of day. There were so many complaints with people not even managing to cope with this, the race time ended up locked.

Excuse the endless series of questions, but after this week it seems to me that the season ends.
From Monday will begin directly a new season or there will be a period of detention until early 2020?

From Monday the new season starts. The announcement is usually made on Saturday (with European Time Zones)
