Registered Drivers Numbers
#1
Would it be possible to add drivers numbers in the Registered Drivers list? It would help people to find out in which split they are racing without too much hassle. Or at least a line separating servers.

Something like in this very professionally well made render which totally didn't take 5 seconds to make:

Sure, it's a small thing (maybe too small to make everybody update their app), but it could be helpful, especially for new drivers.

It doesn't work like that though, so it's a bit more work than simply drawing a line.

The splits aren't just defined by the drivers' ratings, it's also about whether they already competed in that series.

So a driver with a rating of 200 will be in the top split if they already participated in races, while a driver with a rating of 500 would only be in the second split of the same race if they didn't attend any races so far.

But yes, the idea itself is good.

Yeah, I know, but the list you see when you register is already populated by those criteria. It's not sorted by rating or time of registration. Like in the screenshot, you have rating 397, 401, 283, 364. So adding numbers to the left shouldn't impact anything other then UI, same as black/grey background behind your name which changes when you're bumped up or down when somebody new registers. My logic is if it's coded that the colors go dark, light, dark, light, it shouldn't be too hard to make it that every fifth or 23rd line is yellow or something.

Of course, I'm not saying it's easy to do, and I could be waaaay off and it's something very complicated to incorporate.

After your discussion about this in that other thread, I was going to suggest the same thing. I like it. Granted, I've been here long enough that it would take me trying to join a racing series on the 6th week to land on Server 2 or higher... so this likely won't effect me at all.

The table is already ordered by that so it would be easy. The numbers and the line. It would be nice.
