Assetto Corsa displays really unintuitive penalty instructions. Instead of saying "stay off the thottle for 5.0" seconds and then counting down by 0.1 second increments, it does so but only shows you the ones place... meaning when it says "0 seconds" it really means "0.999999..." seconds. You have to wait for the red text to completely disappear before getting back on the throttle. I'm so done with trying to anticipate when the text goes away that I typically just hard brake outside of the racing line and get under 35 kph to automatically clear it (when it allows me to). If it doesn't, then I just sit there for the whole penalty, usually yelling at my TV, and mentally flip a coin as to if I want to just rage quit right there or not. Big Grin

I'd love an alternative, but I'm not sure the powers that be would bother with whatever setup.
