1 Hour daily series region
#1
I'm pretty new to SRS and have been driving only the 20 minute series so far. I've been wanting to drive the 1 hour daily series as well, but the race times haven't worked out. I live in Europe, but I can't make it to the European race. Is it okay for me to join the Asian one or is there a problem with ping?

Yeah, you can pretty much race on whatever races you want in the time slots you have available to you personally. I'm actually not all that clear on why those are separate series, really.

@Russell, I think the "regions" just correspond to a similar evening time slot in various time zones. It also *sometimes* guides track selection.

Naw, I get that, but as I'm sure you know, sometimes you game whenever you have the time to do so and that isn't always just after dinner time. And since there are no restrictions on participation regardless of the region and the servers are technically in NA and GER only, it's fairly arbitrary. Now... if all three regions had totally different track selections, then that makes them actually different competitions, and I guess you'd have to call them something different so by region is as good as anything!
