TCR unfun?
#1
Did anyone else find the TCR incredibly unfun to drive or am I doing it wrong? I haven't driven it before other than in the fixed setup race and i found it just didn't want to turn. It was  understeer city and tedious to drive. The recent mini series was far more fun.
Is there a certain driving style required for this car?

it's front wheel drive and pedal management is the key to getting the car to turn, you're getting back on the throttle too soon and too quick, take it easy, slow is fast.

We have two amazing daily series.
Seat and Spec Race Ford where the pedal plays a vital role.
Know how to break/stop ..... know how to accelerate .... makes a difference.

"slow is fast."

Cool your nerves and try not to slide your wheels, keep your tyre's temps and don't overdrive Big Grin

This car can easily overpower the front tires if you mash the throttle on corner exit. You have to drive it with patience and apply throttle carefully. Also, yes, the fixed setup is... not ideal. But give it a chance... and if it's still not fun for you... well there are lots of other races.

Happy to report I found the red bull ring much more enjoyable. I think (for me) Silverstone just doesn't suit the car (in terms of enjoyment) with the big long sweeping corners
