Ginetta G40 GT5

For some reason, and I don't know why, the car felt and drove OK offline, but online, it was awful.

I have inspected the files, and well I have missed a [ in the tyres.ini files

Although [ is small, it makes a massive difference in AC, as AC would not report the tyre temps correctly.

I have fixed this, and sent it out for testing to various people, so fingers crossed, and again, I apologise for this, update should be out tonight.

Shaun

That's good news Shaun!

Sorry for the delay on this. I had power cut last night, and had work today.

Should be out tonight, just some final checks

Just to let you know, there will be NO UPDATE to the Ginetta GT5 before tomorrows race, as time is to short and will only add to total confusion.

The update will either be out Friday or Saturday

EVERYBODY RACING IN THE GT5.

"You CAN LOCK the rears if you don't blip the throttle enough on the downshift"

Please remember this.  It will prevent you spinning around.

PS - Or turn on Auto Blip Smile

I noticed a lot of "disconnects" tonight due to wrong version

People read the news, there was a update days ago.

All drivers should check this forum at least a few days before, in case there has been an update.

@Raul Rico - Thank you for the positive feedback, much appreciated.

Shaun, your website says the last update was in September.

I would guess that the percentage of members on SRS that regularly read the forums is in the single digits.

I seem to be having trouble getting Auto-Blip to work on this car.

I looked at the throttle graph in Motec and compared against two Kunos cars (one with build-in auto-blip and one without), and Ginetta doesn't provide any throttle input on downshift, unlike the other two. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

As far as I can tell drivetrain.ini is missing the [AUTOBLIP] section.
