Register for a session, chat box says I am registed then nothing, timer goes by and I dont get in the race

If you're in AC or Content Manager, there's a strange bug where you go back to the race list after registering.
When you register, just reload the page, and you'll see that you're on the registration list.
Don't forget to click the Join button with 3 minutes to go before the session!

Also you may need to reload the page for the button to change from Wait to Join at the 3-minute mark. Sometimes it doesn't.

I thought the norm was to do the registration twice... As doing it just once doesnt actually work. Shoutbox will say you've registered.. but always need to get to the point where you can only see the list of drivers registered, and the livery you have chosen.

You only have to register once. Want to do this in the fewest possible clicks?

1. Use Content Manager.
   
2. Live>SRS>Register for the race.
   
3. At ~4 minutes until the race starts, go over to the Online tab and search for "simracingsystem"
   
4. Join the server you are registered for (it'll be the only one you can join on the list).
   

Works 100% of the time.

If you MUST confirm that you are, in fact, not on drugs and for sure did register for the race, do the following:

1. Use Content Manager.
   
2. Live>SRS>Register for the race.
   
3. On the "webpage" hover over the big "RACE" letters, and then select "Race" from the pulldown to show you the race page once again.
   

Voila, the page that should normally have shown after picking your livery appears! If you really want to join using the Join button (but why bother?), you can do it from here. But when you inevitably miss clicking the button, just go back to using the Online Server Browser.
