It's actually pretty simple, it's indexed on the number of races you started, the more races you have the less rating gains you get. Really high at the beginning then once you ve done 100 races, it's about 1.2 rating point for a clean win, then about 0.6 past 200, then 0.3 past 300 races, provided your avg incident is around 1, as a baseline.
No SoF or anything like that, you can win the split 1 race with 92 registered and all four split,high rated drivers all over, same gains than if you race against 6 people with 200 rating. I ve tested it, several time, even during a long streak of 102, never changed and for example last 3 races , i got the 102, everytime it was a 0.33 rating increase. First race would have been really high SOF with many 800' and 700', didn't change anything from the others races with lower rated grids.
The only slight variable is how much you improve your incident average, if it's high of course you benefit more to cross the line with 0 incident, because you bring your avg a bit more, than if it's already like under 1.
So in other words for those who are new, get the rating while you can, because it's not gonna last and avoid inc at all costs i would say. It will be difficult to bring it down afterwards, if you avg is 3 after 100 races then you need 100 races with 0 inc to get it down to 1.5. Think about that...
I think the system is fine, i actually like there s no sof for championship points cause it's not your problem who register or not, but it would be a nice addition if it could count on the rating, with a bit higher gains if you manage to beat a strong grid. Like a small multiplier.
