introduction from the UK
#1
Big Grin
Hi from the UK everyone, thanks for having me.

Currently play Assetto Corsa, been racing on and off with sims for many years but have just recently discovered online racing and absolutely love it. Looking to find some good competition that race fair. Only using a basic rig but looking to expand in time.

Any info and tips are greatly welcome and would like to know more about the community. Thanks.

Hello fellow UK citizen!

Welcome to SRS. My only tips would be to race hard but fair; most importantly enjoy yourself! I've really enjoyed the majority of my races on this system and most races have good battles that get the adrenaline pumping!

I would recemmend reading the Instructions and the Regulation pages to give yourself an understanding of how it all works.

We have a Discord server for SRS that I like to chat in, here's the invite link if you're interested.

Good luck in your races Smile

Hello,

thank you for the invite and info I will take you up on the offer. I have entered the 911 GT Laguna seca in 3 days time, just downloaded the content and have been practising.

I looked on the standings pape but couldnt see that Ive registered, is this normal?

I can see you have registered, so it has definately worked. If you go to the 'Race' page under the 'Competition' tab and scroll down to find that Porsche race, hover over the number and you'll see who's registered. I've taken a screenshot to make things clearer to understand - https://i.imgur.com/g0gPSF0.png

I'll be racing the Praga and Ginetta GT4 series mostly, and will probably attempt the Porsche 911 GT series if I get time.

Hope this helps you out, any more questions feel free to ask Smile

Hi Matt and welcome.
I was about to post the same as Jack's reply.
And after the race you'll be in the Standings pages... forever....
Good luck - see you at that race!   Cool
