I'd like to change my SRS username to match my Steam name.
I'd rather not have it the other way around.

you need to change your steam Profile Name, that doesn't affect the name you registered the steam account.
It's only the display name on your profile

I get that, and don't get me wrong, I appreciate what you guys are doing, but I feel a way about using my real name on Steam.

unless you find another way to set your ingame pcars2 name, there isn't another way.

You would have to buy another copy of the game if you create another Steam account.

No need to buy another copy, you can create another account and share the same games with the steam family sharing option. Don't remember the details, but it worked fine for me, have a google search for it.
