Hi all,
Thank you for having me on the group.
I'm from Portugal and I started sim racing about 7 years ago.
I transitioned from Gran Turismo and started with Netkar Pro, Live for Speed and a bit of Rfactor. By that time I found Sim Racing Portugall and got the taste of some organized online racing. I then dedicated my racing time to iRacing, until some life changing stuff got me off the racing for some time. I returned to iRacing a few months ago.
I'm a fan of the Spec Racer Ford and the Radical V8 in iRacing, so you can say I like prototypes...
Due to my present work schedule I don't have a very fixed racing time but it is mostly european evening/night.
I found Sim Racing System mainly because I felt that, between my irregular work schedule, the business model, track rotation and general scheduling in iRacing; all are making me "race for the credits" and not really enjoy myself while I race.
Which leads me to my question:
Should I get Assetto Corsa (regular) or Competizione?
I know that, at the moment, SRS uses "regular" AC but does that means this is a bad time to join this community (stuck between the evolution of sims)?
Thank you all
