Registered for the Renault RS01 race just now, had to exit AC to sort out my VR headset, and when I re-launched the game SRS showed me as not registered and the time had expired so it was now unavailable. 
I registered, chose a livery and had my name appear before exiting the sim. I've never had this happen to me before, and I missed the only race today I have time for with a large signup count. Not very happy.
