I tried to join the Asia series, chang circuit with ferrari and bmw gt2, but for some reason the server complained that I didn't have the 2017 Ginetta installed so I couldn't join. I tried to fix the issue, but couldn't within the three minute frame.

Delete your launcherdata folder at mydocs/assetto corsa.
You can join directly from AC multiplayer lobby, search simracing system.
