Post your New Skins for Season Starting Dec 3rd 2018!
#1
Last season was a hoot, and there were a number of cool liveries in the various races I participated in. Great job! To kick us off for the season that started earlier this week, I have a couple of entries.

First, there's the fairly tame open wheeler two-tone design of the Ferrari SF70H:

Then, there's the just-out-of-the-shop Police Livery for the RUF Yellowbird. Given the amount of carnage I've seen in this series so far, we are in some dire need for some law enforcement! This one comes with a timelapse too!

Now i do like the police 911.

All my skins will have a common theme but sometimes i'll mix it up a bit.

As the Yellowbird seems to be popular

I'm a Ford fan so pig in you know what this season. The GT40 is wip, at the moment it's blue lol.

And finally the teams Ginetta and a collaboration with Mark Puch AKA The Aussie Stig.

And anyone thinking you need super software to do skins these were done in Photoshop Elements 10 (to design), Gimp 2(to convert to .dds) and Content Manager (previews)

I couldn't stop looking at the UV error I created when I combined all of the UV maps on the model into a single material in Mudbox. So I just spent the last hour figuring out what the problem was (I kept one of the sponsor meshes which mapped totally wrong on with the rest of EXT_Skin) and once I had that sorted, I went and made the red trim much, much better. I hope you agree!

Imgur is not allowing uploads for me at present, but youtube still works... so here's my latest skin (just in time for tonight's SRR race):

Edit: There we go.

Wow you guys are really good at making liveries, I'm super new to it but I'm really enjoying learning how to make them, these are 2 of my favourites I've made thus far. They are quite basic but I like the way they look the Tatuus especially.
