The stock brake mod is quite bad, as it's too hard and limits the range quite a bit. I have used BBJ's custom mod, worked really well but broke after two weeks.
So I bought these squash balls (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00J...UTF8&psc=1), stuck one behind the brake and it's been magnificent.
Low investment, high return IMO.
