It specifically says you shouldn't use chat. I think this is more for during the race so you aren't disturbing other drivers, as well as to ward against potty mouth reactions to incidents. But like a few things here on SRS, the terms are very broad and open for interpretation. There is zero about people giving positions back after they screw up and punt/spin/whatever someone else. That's basically just a gentlemen's agreement that not enough people know about.

I would love there to be more specific rules somewhere and have brought it up a few times here on the forums and in various protests forms where a particular incident appears to be intentional but not in a way that was vengeful or anything... just... people not knowing what a dive bomb is and thinking I'm supposed to know when they are going to take an inside line they haven't earned yet. There is a LOT of that.
