Price Release 1 - AC Competizione
#1
We have a price for ACC.

24.99e if you buy it on September 12th.

Depending on the new updates will rise in price to € 44.99.

My recommendation, even if it is the first version and with little content, is to buy it now. We will save a lot of money.

Last information I could find is:

"What are the recommended system requirements for Assetto Corsa Competizione?
Our minimum target specification is currently an i5-2500/AMD FX-8100 or equivalent, 4 GB RAM and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760. However, right now, it’s way too early to be more precise. Over time, we'll be able to be more specific later as we continue to develop ACC. Therefore, if you are considering upgrading your hardware configuration, we strongly suggest you wait for our Early Access before upgrading."

I am torn. I love AC, and I'd love weather. But if this going to be limited to GT cars, I am more meh.

Upgrade to 16GB of ram and get a 580 8GB card and you'll be golden. I have an FX8320 oc'd to 4.4Ghz 16GB of ram and an R9 390 8GB, I run max graphics settings with filters, and with a full grid online I'm always over 60fps, usually in the low 70's for highly optimized tracks. By myself offline with closer to 30 cars I'll dip into the 40's on mod tracks with poor optimization.

What is EA? Is that an acronym for ACC in another language?

I picked it up, because why not? My impressions are these:

Well shit. I just typed up a big old list of bullet points and the forum ate the post (I also can't currently post new threads... email out to the support contact already). I'm not retyping all that.

Essentially it's very pretty, but doesn't really offer me anything I really need for my sim racing desires, currently. If a mod scene doesn't some how dig its teeth into ACC and we get things like Real Head Motion and Helicorsa/Car Radar, I'll probably let this title rot in my Steam inventory uninstalled. I'm fine with that; I mostly picked it up because 25 bucks is essentially nothing given that I've been playing AC1 for about 3 years now.

If you REALLY like GT3 or REALLY think you'll like this game in the next year and want to save a few bones, pick it up.
