Current SEAT TCR series after car update
#1
Will the latest v1.4 of the SEAT Leon TCR car be accepted by the servers in tomorrow's race at Spa, or will we need to have the same v1.2 installed, to match what was current at the start of the series? I'd rather not be surprised by a checksum error or something when trying to get into the race on Tuesday...

1.4 was announced in the Current Series Downloads thread here: http://www.simracingsystem.com/showthrea...164&page=3

So I would assume you need to have 1.4 installed.

so many stupid drivers tonight, such a waste of time.

Michael Martin, I owe you a pint for T1, was way too late on the brakes but you avoided me like a god

Josh, I just wasn't expecting that you'd coast past braking on a full throttle area.

Josh no beer needed. Just watched the replay and I'd say you got it almost spot on. Just a tiny bit hot. I take it easy at the starts now especially if it's a big stop. I usually lift and coast for a bit before braking for t1. What I loose on the way in I usually gain on the way out but not this time. Maybe why you thought you left it late if you were using me as a reference.
I had a really good clean race. Nice clean sensible racing.

SRS did a great job at informing people. They had a post in the news page at the top of the forum. What were you expecting a personalised email to tell you to update the car?

We are super nerds that hang out on the forums whenever we are bored though... not everyone has no lives that kind of spare time. For the rest of you, however, you can actually get a personalized email to tell you when someone posts in the AC Mod thread. Just follow these easy steps!

  1. Head over to the AC Mod Thread.
  2. Scroll to the very bottom of any of the pages.
  3. Click where it says "Subscribe to this thread" here:

  4. Select Instant Email Notification here:

  5. Click "Subscribe to Thread"
  6. Check your email before any race.
  7. Profit!

Some say he once owned a virtual paint shop where he painted endless amounts of cars with dark magic while singing like a Tibetan monk... Others say that instead of a brain he has a quantum computer in his skull and that if he see's someone who needs answers the word "Google" lights up on his forehead... All we know is he's called Russell Sobie! Big Grin

Josh's comment is quality. Gets frustrated at stupid drivers, then admits to being one of said drivers Tongue
