rFactor 2 App
#21
the app is a costumized browser, so you can use it whenever you want.
It is a an external app, so rf2 will always work as it would without the app.

It does not collect data from your PC but it will change your rf2 name on your rf2 licence inside appdata\roaming\.rfactor to match SRS username.

Make sure your app is on the right place

rfactor2\srsrfactor2\srsrfactor2.exe

steam should be ON and rF2 including launcher OFF

does it still present that message?

Hi,
I keep getting the same message when trying to launch the App:

'rF2 not found'.

It is extracted, and in the correct location.
I have tried removing, and re-downloading, but it does not help?

In order to work, the app requires that steam is ON and rF2 is OFF

what do you mean by this? also how do you turn off rfactor 2 launcher?

how do you switch this off?

When you start the App, steam must be running but not rFactor 2

I tried to install this last night.

Put it in the rF2 folder as suggested. Steam on, launcher not running.

I run srsrfactor2.exe. Window appears. I logged in. It told me to have an rF2 licence, I do. Told me that my name would be changed in rF2, That's OK. Told me to download and install the exe, I had.

Then anything I did asked me to login again, always taking me to the screen where it tells me the above.

What am I doing wrong?

Yes, I can confirm this.

I triple checked the instructions on where to install.

Is your license file set to have the following lines:

Richard
Goodwin
Richard Goodwin

?

The license file is at AppData\Roaming\.rFactor\player.name
