extract the app into the rf2 folder.
you need to have steam on even if you dont have rf2 on steam

Note 1: your license file will be changed to match your simracing system username
Note 2: rFactor 2 launcher must be turned off
Note 3: Steam must be on
Note 4: you can test the App by visiting Support>Test App

I click on icon, srsfactor2, I always get the same message " the software is outdate ". thanks. By the way, could you indacate step by sept how it is installed successfully ?  thanks again.

some informations before install app:

-after installing, app will be always on or i can decide to open/close it? (i wish it will not always on in background)
-can I continue to use normally rf2 on other servers without launch app?
-my greatest fear is that app can be invasive and going to alter pc (and rF2) values
-privacy is guaranteed?
-who tells me that you do not collect personal data from my pc?
(on my pc I have several sensible working documents and is not very safe to install unknown apps)
