Seid dem Update von Race Room startet die App nicht mehr.

if you are getting the "External exception e06d7363" error or "Raceroom not found" you didn't follow the instructions.

The first happens because you are using the old SRS.exe and not the one inside game\x64\SRS_RRE\SRS.exe

The second may happen if somehow you extracted the contents from SRS_RRE into your x64 folder.

hatte selbiges Problem.
update runter geladen und zunächst den Inhalt vom Ordner SRS_RRE in den Ordner x64 rein kopiert.
Dann habe ich erst gelesen, dass der ganze Ordner SRS_RRE in den Ordner x64 rein soll.
Habe dass dann (zusätzlich) auch noch gemacht.

Nun startet zwar SRS wieder, allerdings bleibt es nach dem Login bei "Loading" stehen, und das auch nach mehr als 30min.

Jemand ne Idee ?
Beißt sich vielleicht das doppelte rein kopieren ?

Der Ordner temp im Ordner x64 habe ich geleert.
Den Ordner temp im Ordner SRS_RRE versuchsweise ebenfalls, leider keine Besserung...

Deaktivieren des Hakens bei "RRE content detection" lässt die app wieder starten...

Edit: Geil, jetzt startet Raceroom nicht mehr....

Edit2: Gestartet ist nur die 64bit version nicht. Grund war hier wohl das zunächst falsche einfügen des Ordner Inhaltes. Steam hat bei der Überprüfung 10 fehlerhafte Dateien erkannt.

You download the SRS_RRE.zip, extract it to RRE root

Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\

you execute
Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\x64\SRS_RRE\SRS.exe

content detection must turned off otherwise you won't pass the main page.

Some users report having a black screen, I never experienced that on 3 different machines, but they said running with vista compability works for them.


That's it.

If you for some reason you messed up the folders, delete everything inside

Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\x64 and run a steam integrity check and then reinstall the app as mentioned above.
