Tatuus FA1 Liveries!
#1
I've recently found a number of drivers like to put liveries from other cars on the cars they are racing in SRS. I shy away from just doing straight up copies and try to a twist on the theme where I can (see this thread). This one isn't so much a replica as it is a re-imagining.
Owen wanted me to somehow put this:

On to this:

So I ended up with this:

And don't forget the custom helmet (I think I'm going to make this a part of any open cockpit liveries I do in the future)! If you want to know how to get your helmet working using SRS Skin App, check out this post here: http://www.simracingsystem.com/showthrea...69#pid9869

Owen, please find your skin attached! Enjoy!

You've outdone yourself Russell! Looks better than I hoped it would. Good work and thank you very much for taking the time to create this!

Check it out, 30 years later the livery has been revived in BSB and did James Ellison pretty damn well at Donnington earlier today in the first BSB race of 2018.
Personally I've found the livery has taken an instant half second off my lap time in the quick practice I had with it earlier. You did a grand job Russell.

Pretty efficient work. If I knew how to do that it would probably take me days to achieve that.

Good spot Russell on the video link, I wondered why I could only see the video in full edit view. Fixed now thanks.

Nice work Russell.

You nailed in every detail of the livery, it looked great on the Tatuus.

Bit of a flub on my part for this next one. Protip: make sure communication lines are clear when iterating on a design with someone via PMs. Request was for a Tatuus in black, red, and yellow, so I did up a design. When I showed it to him, what I got back made it SEEM like he not only didn't like it, but that he had given up on me and went with something else he found on RaceDepartment.com. I think understandably I was a bit miffed, so decided to make it my new Tatuus livery.
Turns out he just wanted some changes to what I had provided and thought the Coral Snake looked beautiful. Doh!
I'm going to hopefully make him a new skin in a week or so, assuming he wants to start over with someone who regrettably only speaks English! :\
Anyway, here's the final product. Enjoy!

Oops. Looks rad to me.

Is that 73 for Alex Marquez? What's the deal with Austin Humane Society?
