Spotlight On... Interviews with SRS racers
#11
In my opinion higher priced wheel can give better driving feelings and better quality FFB, that doesn't necessarily mean best results. Maybe really high-end gear can have a solid impact on performances.
I survived lap 1. Now I can deal with anything in life.

Particularly interesting was the part about Russell often practicing in the quali. Hey Russell, does this ring a bell:
"Usually 5+ early in the week when people have literally never driven Car X on Track Y and figure "oh, I'll just figure it out during the race!". These people need to resist the urge to register for a race." Big Grin
It is of course obvious that you have things figured out and are not one of "those" people, but this was still a bit funny.

Hah hah... do as I say, not as I do! Big Grin

When I figure it out in Qualification, it is always when I know at least the track OR the car. If I don't know either, I typically stay far away without a good hour+ of practice before being an obstacle for others.

Nice to read something about the people we race against (and consistently finish at least half a lap ahead of me Big Grin ).
