Ferrari F2004 Liveries!
#1
Got a hankering for some open wheel fun yesterday night, and hated my Photoshop-only skin I did really slapdash back at the start of the season, so what is a guy to do? Well, the answer is to see if I could improvise a brand new skin from scratch in 1.5 hours or less (since that's how soon the race was going to start)!
Truth be told, I DID get A skin done in time to race, but I made the final coloring changes early this morning before work.
I also regret the fact that this particular car has very few stock skins and I went with my usual color scheme... which makes it BARELY stand out from all the red/white/black stock skins! Doh! I guess I could color-replace and make it purple and green... but that just... wouldn't be me.
Anyway, I give you, the Ferrari F2005 Russell Sobie Livery version 2.0:

Where's mine, i remember some promise about turn 1... Big Grin .....especially since you took over 2nd place after i blocked my tires going in to that same turn 1 and it gave me a BIG 'OL penalty.......anything but a stock skin. You do a fantastic job, those pics are real nice

Hah hah ... I called the deal off since someone bumped me going through turn 1. Nothing serious, but it was not incident free! However, if you want one, drop me a PM! 1-3 colors, racing number, stuff like that?

Ah if you just want a F2004 version of that skin, I have a copy of that skin on my hard drive at home, silly. I race Audi with you all the time (when day light savings hasn't screwed me like it did this week). Is that what you'd like?

My pleasure. Doing a second F2004 reminded me that I left the "carbon section" colored white on my skin... I'll have to fix that before I race in it again. The white base sections on this car make it look like a toy. Hell, I just noticed I'm missing a red stripe on the right side of my car too. UGH. My OCD may very well kill me one day.
