I'm having this problem right now, so I guess I'm not racing today.
But I just wanted to inform everyone of the fact that if you're having the same problem, you're not alone. In fact we're not alone, everyone with a Rift is supposedly having it.
Oculus messed up...
Don't even try reïnstalling, it's probably a waste of time...

The issue has been resolved but it requires all Oculus user to download a patch:

For Win7 users,
if you get the message to "install hotfixes KB2670838 and KB3033929", re-run the patch from a command-line prompt:

C:\OculusPatchMarch2018.exe /bypassHotfixCheck

Also works with OculusSetup.exe if necessary. Only found this by searching the forums; why Oculus didn't suggest it...!
