AC Competizione
#11
It's still "two wheels inside the white lines" though, right? I think this is more speaking to where those white lines are considered to be. There are tracks that have kerbs that are a car's width wide or more, but putting all four wheels on that is off track assuming the white line (edge of the track) is not actually in the kerb.

I know different orgs have different rules on how many wheels you have to keep in... I'm just wondering if this is a case of me being ignorant of real world racing on just about every level. Big Grin

I think the new Competizione would be really interesting.
The new weather changes, night mode and lot of more new features would expand the realism and that's what I like.

I hope that SRS will offer an app for AC Competizione aswell.

i'm also looking forward to this.

but, just sayin' its nice to have all kinds of weather... until you actually race and discover that you need to use an extreme amount of time planning your setup for both rain and medium-rain and clear track. then it's not so fun anymore. you pit when it rains, and your competitors just drive along on slicks because they have a long experience and they know when it's exactly the right time to pit. and then you loose the race 1 lap behind.

This... except I'll take it to the next logical conclusion. Not only you need time planning, but everyone else on the track does as well. And surprise! Most of them are not going to take that time. They are just going to race and fumble around with wets and they will be a danger to themselves and others.

If I was really into a full 100% realism racing simulation competition (i.e. league racing), then throw as many variables as you want at the competition. But this (SRS) is not exactly that. It's certainly not public lobby racing, but for the most part, the more variables you throw at your average sim racer, the worse everyone's experience is going to be when actually racing on the same circuit.

I think most people crying for weather and night just haven't thought this through all the way.
