Here is my self built all steel custom chassis/rig. Built using 1x3 and 1x2 .060" wall cold rolled steel tubing and various other steel stock. All tig welded.
OSW large MiGE SimuCube from SimRacingBay.com
Fanatec Universal Hub
Fanatec wheel rim
Fanatec V3 Inverted pedals w/upgrades
Fanatec Shifter
Fanatec handbrake
4 Aura bass shakers in chassis mode
5.1 surround w/8" sub under the seat in ported box
Rockville 400 watt (4 channel) car audio amp driving SimVibe
Rockville 3200 watt (5 channel) car audio amp running surround sound
I was running a single 1 killowatt PSU to drive both amps but have since switched to dual silent 600 watt PSU's (one for each amp)
Self built computer with Asus Maximus X Hero mobo, Intel Core-i5 8600K @ 5.1 Ghz on air (stable), 32 megs ram, Zotac GTX-1070 Ti Amp Extreme video card overclocked, M.2 drives in Raid-0 for OS and game files, 2 Samsung Evo SSD's for back up and other stuff all in a self built steel cage (still needs paint).
Triple screens are HP Omen 32 inch 1440 @ 75hz. fed by display ports.
The seat is from a 2003 Subaru WRX with recline, slider and height adjustment. It is still a work in progress as is the space it resides in. I am lucky enough to have a spare den in the house that my wife allowed me to commandeer for my sim racing obsession. Check out the video for a look at the build process.
