As stated above, but in another way, more challenges = more fuckups from inexperienced drivers, of which there are many more of than experts. I'm not saying you have to dumb everything down and attempt to convert AC into Burnout... I'm saying that the more consistency between the time you drop onto the server and what the actual turn 1 conditions are going to be, the less likely you have a bunch of people from the middle and back of the grid plowing into the front of the pack due to locking it up and dive bombing.

And yes, I would complain if the weather was random every race for the same reason. I may be able to deal with it (as I actually put in a bit of practice outside of actual races, at optimum grip, of course, since that's what all the races are anyway) but it only takes one guy behind me that hasn't a clue to ruin a perfectly fine race for me.
