Ginetta Supercup

Sounds like my normal work hours once again interfere with another fun race! I highly recommend setting up AC to automatically record replays of anything over like 3 minutes or so, that way you never miss the action.

I have to share this. Last night was possibly the best racing I have ever experienced on AC. Last 5 laps Chris Treece was clearly quicker than me, my tyres was shot (I need to learn to control these better) and it had everything,. I tried my hardest to hold him off, but it wasn't to be. Late lunge, side by side, defensive and switch back and we didn't swap a single bit of paint....

I just want to say so so sorry to Dustin for that last race. We was going 1/2 for practically the whole race. There is no excuse, I locked up as I thought you would carry the same speed through the corner.

Again sorry mate, ruined the perfect race

Awww Shaun. Shaun, Shaun, Shauney Shaun. What a difference a day makes.  Rolleyes
Don't feel bad. I watched that race live on the stream, and he _was_ a bit slow and wide into that corner and I was surprised to see you'd made up so much ground on him, (as the camera had switched from a wide view, to the view from above and behind Dustin) so your front bumper catching him in the rear made me flinch.
Still, as the following driver, I guess you still bear the responsibility...
The whole race was 'incident packed' for almost everyone. (that position chart tho',  lol).
Except for a certain intrepid hero. Alex Leif; son, how you 'picked' your way through that lot without a scratch must have given you a bit of a rush, eh?
gedd(y)it?

BTW Ginetta's have given me the most fun since my recent arrival here at SRS, so for that, thanks Shaun!!

Thanks Jim, I am glad I didn't have a MIC on at that point, as I was saying a lot of words, about myself. Like I said and I have watched the reply, for over 20laps we was going for it both of us, so I guess the tyres just said, errr no, no more LOL.

It was just so much fun and just felt bad that I killed the perfect race, so just wanted to apologise.

Glad you like, Ginetta and thank you for your very kind words, now uploading the new update to RD.

Hey no worries, really. I messed up the final corner and had to slow down more than normal. You were faster the whole race, I knew the pass was coming at some point; it was fun racing regardless.

Does anybody look the mirrors or the flags? I hit someone because he didn't let me pass even when I waste 2 laps flashing lights behind him -and the rest of the group- and, I assume, all of them viewing the blue flags in their monitors.

Yeah, there are definitely a number of drivers frequenting the Ginetta races that seem to be unaware that 1) the other cars have humans (and aliens) driving and 2) when they see a blue flag they need to remain calm, remain predictable, and when safe, let lapping drivers pass. Especially on short sprint tracks like Brands Hatch Indy. In the last race I was in I didn't have any problems with folks getting out of the way and it was greatly appreciated, but I've been a couple where they've been not just getting out of the way, but have straight up blocked lapping drivers.

Not like any of these people read these forums, but it is highly recommended that you install Crew Chief and use that in addition to paying attention to the default blue flag notification.
