Salute
I joined SRS some time ago but never actively took part. What a mistake on my part.
I have just completed my third race in the Seat Leon series, and have to say it has been the most exciting racing on line I have had in a long time.
It was fast, exciting and most important, clean. Salute to racers that were in my group yesterday for the 18:00 and 23:00 hours races.
I am looking forward to many more like these.
Kind regards

Hi, I agree it's a great platform, clean racing that's really quick as runs like clockwork. Just missing the live chat element of other racing where u get to know other racers

There's a Discord server, but no one is ever on it, so I, in turn, don't join it either. Maybe we should start a revolution.

Adding in game voice to your PC title (especially something niche like a racing sim) is a huge waste of resources given how good an option Discord (and even Mumble or Teamspeak... or even Ventrilo) is. Besides, you really don't want to have in game voice for 99.9% of all multiplayer games anyway since you'll just be muting 99.9% of other players you encounter anyway because the Internet is full of people. People have mouths, and on the Internet, people use those mouths to say things you really don't want to hear.

Having voice being on a third party application not only means that that software is going to be really good because it is really focused on being good at that one thing, but it also means there's a slight barrier of entry so that only people who are "serious" about communicating while playing their multiplayer games are going to bother.

That said, I'm going to be sure to drop onto Discord for my next race on here. I'll sit in there by myself if I have to!

?? Disagree.

Iracing has it, and you can create many in-channel passworded channels. You don’t even need to mute anyone.

I’m sure discord running in background is far more resource hungry. Even though I️ think neither take much at all really.

AC should have it. But it’s not a big deal really...but it would be nice to have one less thing open on PC.

But I’ll be in the discord channel!!! Hope to see you there.
