Yesterday I had a race in the GT2 asia chamionship. Qualified second but when I pressed drive, or whatever the button is called, I got placed into the pitlane with a 15 second control lock. I did press the drive button when the starting lights where already on(1 light out of 5) so maybe this was the reason? I didnt know this was a thing so it was a very expensive lesson if this is supposed to happen

Yes, you must press the "drive" button before the lights go on.

true true I always do it with like 12-15 seconds to race start (the countdown)
