How realistic is AC?

Totally agree with the opinions stated here. And nice video as well. Smile

I never managed to screw up Schwedenkreuz, Fuchsröhre and Brünnchen in AC though – even when I tried. People often lose control there in real life though.
As if compressions and small hills are more forgiving to the suspension in AC as they’re in real life.
Amazing list of awesome achievements: 5th Lotus 25 2018, 4th DRM 2019, 5th Williams FW14 vs. Ferrari 643 2019, 3rd Ferrari 312T vs. Lotus 72D 2020

I had problems with my brakes all day and at the end of the video they fail totally at the end of the straight, I was doing 104mph when I went for the brakes and nothing. So I had to use the handbrake and gears to scrub off some speed, ended up doing a handbrake turn at 100mph which scrubbed off 50mph to minimize impact into air fence.

Nice bit of work getting it stopped where you did ... and a very wise decision as well.  There are a lot of places at Cadwell where going off could be hazardous to your health.

In a way I share your experience.  A long time ago I raced MGB's on tracks in the northeast of the US.  My favorite track to drive was Bridgehampton.  Unfortunately this track no longer exists, but the Assetto Corsa version by lilski is spot on!  http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/...cuit.6604/

I'm glad that SRS includes little known tracks (at least in the US) like Cadwell, this really makes sim-racing more interesting and fun.  I started doing some of the Australian tracks this past year.  Bathurst (aka., Mount Panorama) is good fun and a great challenge.  http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/ca...rk.124859/

BTW, A week ago Scott Mansell released a Driver61 Youtube Vid comparing real driving with sims.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XI494nEJrQ&t=11s

Maybe you'd find it interesting.

Good Holidays, hope to see you on the track.
