Just want to thank SRS for this selection the car is great fun and demanding. Absolutely love feeding in the throttle balancing the over steer with the throttle. More cars like this in the future too please.

I think it is great fun and demanding... and since it takes place 5 times a day, I expect the protest form box is going to fill to the very top. Just got out of my first race at Red Bull, and it is pretty clear that 50% of drivers haven't practiced with this thing once. And most of the other half don't know you can turn down the Turbo.

Protip: you can adjust the Turbo.

Never quite got my head around that car. Good thing I have a reason to learn how to drive it now Smile
Amazing list of awesome achievements: 5th Lotus 25 2018, 4th DRM 2019, 5th Williams FW14 vs. Ferrari 643 2019, 3rd Ferrari 312T vs. Lotus 72D 2020

Yer I was in that race with you Russell. Got bumped off track twice was not a happy bunny. I don't adjust turbo at all just leave it on 100% but I am delicate with the throttle until she is straightened up.

I tried it Simon's way this race and left it on 100% turbo and was very careful on the throttle. Worked out well since I was able to qualify 4th, and hold 4th the whole race (had 3rd there for a bit, but he got it back in short order). Apparently 5th and back in this morning's race succumbed to the volatility of this car during just the first lap.

I have to say, coming in 4th with no incidents was a lot less exciting than coming in 6th with 5 incidents. But I can easily say it was more enjoyable experience overall. Big Grin

Zandvoort is a real challenge I have only tried it with several beers in me so far but it is a real handful I am about 3s off the top time so far.

Oh, I haven't even looked ahead at next week yet... Zand is going to be a nightmare, for sure. There is maybe two places to pass on that track that I feel comfortable going for a pass... and that's in an agile car that actually does what I tell it to without wanting to murder me. Eh... I imagine all passing on Zand is going to be driving by people who lost control.

I think plenty of people will fall off the track at Zand. Don't think you will need to pass to many just stay on track lol
