easiest way to create a skin
#1
Hi mates! I love creating my skins... i'm not exactly good with that, but is a part of the racing fun and i love it 8)
I use a free software for that: DXTbmp ( http://www.mwgfx.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm ), is not exactly an editor but it should convert texture files to .png or .bmp files and vice-versa.
So, using this software + an optional image editor (i use fireworks adobe, is really simple) i can create my skins.
Have fun! 8)

Thanks for the tip. I use the Content Manager itself to create a quick personal skin. It has a feature called Paintshop that allows the user to change a few parameters like skin color, reflections, gloss and the such. I haven't taken it further than creating a plain colored skin, but it is enough for me when I want to have something personal in a couple of minutes.
